The chapter discusses different modes in which you can make an argument which is directly related to our project because we are doing a multi-modal assignment where we will make an argument.
What will help us in our project is how this chapter talks about layers and how each part of your argument whether and video, essay, poster, or flyer. Each one can either build off each other or offer different points into your argument but the hard part is to try to connect these different medias. The chapter talks about creating websites, which is part of our project. how you neeed to decide on your target audience and determine your purpose when creating it. It explains to us how to construct an essay for your audience and how you have to meet the needs of the audience. Then in the last paragraph the author talked about multi-modal montages and how to combine the medias together.
